From e-mail to dynamic conversation: communication as a document

Abstract

Social networking systems based on messaging are occupying a spaceof communication and information that seemed restricted to email. However, the launch of Google Wave has put the possibilities of mail back on the table, if they are integrated into platforms that provide mechanisms for cooperative response andmore flexible collaborative editing.
