Evaluación del uso ético de ChatGPT en investigación científica: principales tendencias, mejores prácticas y desafíos identificados

Esta nota de investigación explora las implicaciones éticas del uso de Inteligencia Artificial (IA) generativa en el diseño y desarrollo de la investigación científica. Basándonos en un enfoque sistemático mediante una revisión de alcance (scoping review), revisamos los principales estudios publicados sobre la intersección entre la inteligencia artificial generativa de ChatGPT y la ética de la investigación. Los hallazgos clasifican los estudios en tres clústeres: 1) el uso ético de ChatGPT en la investigación académica, 2) el uso ético de ChatGPT en educación y salud y 3) los sesgos, la equidad y la regulación relacionados con ChatGPT. Los temas examinados en esta revisión incluyen preocupaciones éticas sobre el contenido generado por IA, la citación y autoría de las contribuciones generadas por la IA, y el impacto de ChatGPT en la integridad educativa y las prácticas de atención médica. El estudio finaliza reflexionando sobre la necesidad del diseño de nuevas pautas éticas y supervisión humana para garantizar un uso responsable de la inteligencia artificial, destacando la importancia de la transparencia, la regulación y las evaluaciones éticas a lo largo del tiempo para limitar los posibles sesgos de esta tecnología y los dilemas éticos que desencadenará.Citas
