The evolution of the Laboratorios Bibliotecarios (LABBBs) project is outlined, driven by the Directorate-General for Books, Comics, and Reading through the Subdirectorate General for Library Coordination. LABBBs seeks to strengthen the role of libraries by focusing on innovation and citizen participation. Over the years, LABBBs has promoted collaboration between libraries and other sectors, encouraging collective creation and the strengthening of local communities. It also advocates for a systemic change in public policies so that libraries take on a more active role in building just and resilient societies.References
