The number of e-mails sent daily in a corporation is growing increasingly and the lack of its control is risky for the business. In order to avoid problems, a variety of strategies of preservation or removal can be applied. Technological solutions are not enough to solve the problems, so it is necessary to start an e-mail retention policy which points out the goals of the organization, applies the right technology and raises awareness about the steps to follow to manage e-mails among the employees.
